Chucho Valdés & The Afro-Cuban Messengers (CUB) - 12 June

Chucho Valdés is undoubtedly the greatest living pianist in the Latin jazz circuit, with an incredible 83 albums, seven Grammys and countless tours behind him. In addition, he is also the son of the eminent Bebo Valdés.

Chucho Valdés plays piano music synonymous with Cuba and is a mix of melody, rhythm and improvisation with roots from Africa, Spain and old customs. It’s a flawless blend of dance, sentimental jazz all at the same time. The weather on the day doesn’t matter as the Cuban sun is always shining when Valdés and his band are on stage.
