Kul Djur – a big band influenced musical safari (FAMILY) - 11 June
Here you will be introduced to fourteen different African animals as well as the wayward little Swedish goose, Gösta. The songs are taken from a song book, written by Per- Åke Wennerberg, while the show is about animals that live on the African savannah.
The animals all exhibit unique personalities, which can be heard in the Per-Åke's compositions and arrangements that are written by musicians in Bohuslän Big Band – with the show, aimed at kids of ages 6 – 11 years. The show aimed at children aged 6 years and up to 11 years. Here we will be introduced to among others, the boa snake Moa, the beautiful giraffe Zerafe and the dancing rhino Nusse.
This is an opportunity to sing along to children’s songs accompanied by a complete big band featuring saxophones, trumpets, trombones, piano, bass and of course drums. In addition, to performances from the Royal College of Music Big Band you will also meet Andreas Glans who will narrate and sing with his performing 14 year old daughter. The songs are simple and fun to sing along to. The perfomance will be in Swedish.
