Paavo - Family Concert (SUN)

Paavo and its composers and band leaders Sofia Jernberg and Cecilia Persson are recipients of awards, honors, and the public’s adoration for their two albums "Paavo" 2007 and "Cançó part Paó" 2010. The music is intricate, modern, yet charming, beautiful and happy with carefully composed parts and open improvisations that have enchanted music lovers of all ages since the group formed in 2004.

When Paavo play for children they of course perform their own compositions, but in a compressed format. The children will also have a chance to influence the courseof the music and join the improvisation sessions. The musicians will also talk about their instruments and how it works to play in a band together.
