Goran Kajfes Subtropic Archestra (FRI)

Goran Kajfes probably needs no formal presentation, given that it is almost easier to tell what he hasn’t done as opposed to what he has done within Swedish music scene. He is a renowned trumpeter, composer, producer, studio musician and songwriter.

After having toured the world and collaborated with artists like Jose Gonzalez, Stina Nordenstam, The Soundtrack of Our Lives, it was time to find back home. The result was the Grammy nominated and double-disc X / Y. One half extroverted, experimental and versatile, the other half introvert, minimalist and candidates. X will be the letter when Goran and his band Subtropic Arkestra step up on Galejan’s stage.
